I'd like to make an appeal to all Republicans and Tea Party types who repeatedly complain about Democrats. I know Democrats can be annoying. What rational person doesn't want to scream at their incessant whining that nothing is Barack Obama's fault? But please show a little compassion. The poor Democrats have it a lot harder than you think.

Not since Jimmy Carter have Democrats been in such an unenviable position. After four years of hard work, what do they have to brag about? No accomplishments to speak of except Obamacare. That's gotta hurt. Pity poor Ed Case and Mazie Hirono in the debate; faintly praising Obamacare while bragging that Hawaii got an exemption. Great plan, as long as it doesn't affect us. Think that was easy?

Imagine having to defend Obama's pitiful record, or argue he'll turn things around any day now. The economy is in the tank and getting worse. Trillions wasted and nothing to show for it. Is it any wonder they run and hide from that record?

I know it's irritating but attacking Republicans is all they got.

How would you like to campaign on: "Forget our guy is inept; their guy might be worse?"

Do you think it's easy demonizing Mitt Romney, the most boring white guy on the planet? Sadly, it's all the Democrats can do.

Most Republicans must fake enthusiasm for Mitt. Imagine how hard it must be for nondelusional Democrats to do the same for Obama. Show a little sympathy.
